Who is Daniel Arsham?
Daniel Arsham is an American contemporary artist best known for his Future Relics series — everyday objects rendered as though they were archaeological finds dug up centuries from now, cast in geological materials like sand, stone and volcanic ash and left visibly eroded. Cameras, sneakers, cars, classical statuary: all of it crumbling, cracked open, half-mineral.
That vocabulary is visible in the names Malbon gave this capsule. Shards. Glyph. Stealth. Monogram. If you know Arsham's work, the capsule reads as his; if you do not, it reads as a particularly well-resolved earth-tone golf range.
Arsham and Malbon have worked together before — most visibly on the 2024 project with Kohler that turned the Whistling Straits course into a sculpture garden, bronze eroded Porsche and all. This FW26 capsule is a separate release, and we are not going to claim a design brief for it that Malbon has not published.
