Skateparks in Kelowna
Ben Lee Skatepark (Rutland) — the big one
If you skate one park in Kelowna, make it Ben Lee. In Ben Lee Park in Rutland (900 Houghton Rd, parking off McPhee St), it's one of BC's biggest and best concrete parks, with real variety for every level: a bathtub bowl and a deeper bowl, concrete stairs, handrails and hubbas, kinked rails, boxes and curved ledges, and stair sets from a 5 to a double-5 to a full ten set. Transition, street and beginners all eat. The surrounding park has a splash pad, playground, washrooms and shade for full-afternoon missions.
City Park Skate & Bike Park (Downtown) — skate, then hit the lake
Right downtown along the beach in City Park (1600 Abbott St) sits a small, fenced, well-loved street park — rails, ramps, grind boxes and hubbas, in the best location in the city. It's a two-minute roll from our doors at 588 Bernard Ave, so you can session, cool off in Okanagan Lake, and grab a coffee on Bernard without moving your car. Compact, but unbeatable for a quick downtown street session (helmets encouraged — it's unsupervised).
DeHart Skateboard Spot (Lower Mission) — new
Down in the Mission, a smaller skate spot was just added at DeHart Community Park (687 DeHart Rd) with street-skating features — a welcome addition for south-Kelowna skaters who used to trek across town to Ben Lee. It's a compact setup, perfect for a quick after-school or after-work session close to home.
New: a skatepark coming to Glenmore
Good news for the north side — a brand-new skatepark is in the works for Glenmore. Glenmore has been underserved for skate spots for years, so a dedicated park here is a big deal for the neighbourhood's next generation. We'll update this guide with features and an opening once it's rolling.
Bonus: Rutland BMX Track
Not a skatepark, but part of the scene: the Rutland BMX Track in Rutland Recreation Park (645 Dodd Rd), behind the Twin Arena, runs spring through summer with club practice and race nights.

West Kelowna Skatepark (Memorial Park)
Across the bridge at 3737 Old Okanagan Hwy, the West Kelowna park in Memorial Park is a proper concrete setup with two bowls, a street section and a smooth flat area, open to skateboards, scooters, BMX and inline. Something for every level — from kids pushing around to skaters dropping the deep bowl — plus picnic tables, benches, lights and a big parking lot.
Westbank First Nation Multi-Use Park
Also in West Kelowna (1880 Quail Lane), next to the WFN Community Centre, this outdoor space pairs a concrete skate bowl with a paved pump track and a multi-use sports court — a fun, flowy stop and great for mixing board and bike.

Lake Country — Swalwell Park
North of Kelowna, the Lake Country Skatepark in Swalwell Park (10090 Bottom Wood Lake Rd) has two large bowls plus a street plaza — stair set, rails, boxes, ledges, banks and quarter-pipes — fully lit and open seasonally, with washrooms, a playground and splash park nearby. (The new Lake Country Bike Park up the hill is worth a lap too.)
Peachland — Lambly Park
The Peachland Skate Park (3297 Okanagan Hwy, in Lambly Park) packs a quarter-pipe, stairs, rails, a hubba ledge, banks, an up-gap, hips and roll-ins into a scenic lakeside setting with a small bleacher area. Open daily 7am to dusk.
Vernon & the North Okanagan
- Kalamalka Rotary Skateboard Park (Vernon) — in Polson Park (2750 Vernon St), open since 1999, a big mix of ramps, rails and concrete features for all levels.
- Coldstream Skatepark — in Creekside Park (8101 Kidston Rd), a large park with multiple bowls, ramps and rails.
