The adidas Women's Japan in Earth Strata / Orange Tint / Gold Metallic is a reissue of the 1964 trainer that first appeared in the catalogue for that year's global sporting event in Japan. It keeps the original low, narrow profile almost untouched — the changes are the good kind, like the double-stitched T-toe.
This one runs warm. A soft earth-toned suede upper, a wash of orange tint through the trim, and the three stripes lifted in gold metallic. It's the autumn colourway of the pair, and it wears far better than a photo suggests.
