Fucking Awesome x Skullcandy at Gallery Streetwear Canada – Skate Meets Sound in Kelowna - Gallery Streetwear

Fucking Awesome x Skullcandy at Gallery Streetwear Canada

The Fucking Awesome × Skullcandy collection has officially arrived at Gallery Streetwear, our independent streetwear and sneaker shop in downtown Kelowna. This collaboration brings together Skullcandy’s deep roots in action-sports audio and Jason Dill’s uncompromising skate aesthetic, creating sound gear that feels just as raw and authentic as the culture that inspired it.

Available now in-store and online, the collection introduces a limited run of audio products designed with Fucking Awesome’s distinctive visual identity. For customers across Canada—from Kelowna to Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal—this release offers a rare crossover between skate culture and music technology.

The Pieces in the Collection

The Fucking Awesome × Skullcandy drop features three exclusive products, each designed for everyday use while carrying the unmistakable FA aesthetic.

The Crusher ANC 2 headphones lead the release. These wireless, noise-cancelling over-ear headphones feature Skullcandy’s adjustable Crusher bass system combined with graphics inspired by Jason Dill’s art direction.

The Dime Evo wireless earbuds bring the same attitude in a compact format. Small enough for daily carry, the clip-case design makes them perfect for skating, commuting, or travelling while still delivering Skullcandy’s signature sound profile.

Rounding out the release is the Barrel Mini Bluetooth speaker, a portable, water-resistant speaker built for skate sessions, road trips, and late-night playlists.

Together these pieces represent the intersection of sound, skateboarding, and streetwear culture.

Skullcandy – Audio Born From Action Sports

Skullcandy was founded in 2003 in Park City, Utah by Rick Alden with the goal of creating headphones for people who lived active lives—skaters, snowboarders, and riders who wanted music to move with them.

Early Skullcandy products blended sound with movement in a way traditional tech brands didn’t understand. Riders could skate or snowboard while listening to music without sacrificing durability or style.

Over time Skullcandy became deeply embedded in skate and snow culture, known for heavy bass, bold graphics, and gear designed for everyday use.

Fucking Awesome – Jason Dill’s Influence

Fucking Awesome was founded by legendary skateboarder Jason Dill and filmmaker Mike Piscitelli. Dill had already built a reputation as one of skateboarding’s most influential figures through Alien Workshop and Supreme.

The brand began with small runs of tees and graphics made for friends. The art direction was chaotic, collage-driven, and honest—reflecting real skate life without corporate polish.

In 2013, Dill and Anthony Van Engelen expanded the project into a full skate company under the FA World Entertainment banner.

Today Fucking Awesome remains one of the most respected brands in skateboarding, balancing art, humor, and raw authenticity.

A Natural Connection Between Skate and Music

Skateboarding and music have always been intertwined. The soundtrack of skate culture—from punk to hip-hop to experimental music—has shaped how generations of skaters experience the streets.

This collaboration captures that connection perfectly.

Fucking Awesome brings its rebellious visual identity while Skullcandy provides the technology that carries the sound.

Why Gallery Streetwear Carries It

Gallery Streetwear was founded to bring authentic streetwear and skate culture to Kelowna and to customers across Canada.

Our brand mix reflects that philosophy. We focus on independent labels with real cultural roots rather than trend-driven hype.

The shop carries brands such as Dime MTL, Butter Goods, Jungles Jungles, Hoddle, Tenant NYC, Magenta, and Victoria HK alongside sneakers from New Balance, Adidas, Saucony, On, and Clarks Originals.

The Fucking Awesome × Skullcandy collaboration fits naturally into that world where skateboarding, music, and design intersect.

Built for Real Life

The pieces in this collection are meant to be used, not just collected.

The headphones work for travel and daily listening.
The earbuds are designed for everyday portability.
The speaker is built for skating, hanging out, and moving through the city.

Just like skateboarding itself, the gear becomes part of everyday life.
