New Balance 2002R Spring 2025 Pack Landed at Gallery Streetwear (May 2025)
In spring 2025 the New Balance 2002R Spring Pack arrived at Gallery Streetwear in downtown Kelowna, introducing two seasonal colourways to one of New Balance’s most respected lifestyle silhouettes. That release sold through and has not been repeated.
The pack included the Sky Blue and Russet Red editions of the 2002R — sneakers designed to reflect the shift into warmer weather while keeping the comfort, craftsmanship and versatility that made the model one of New Balance’s most popular lifestyle shoes.

The Spring 2025 Colourways: Sky Blue and Russet Red
The pack was built around seasonal contrast. Sky Blue reflected the calm tones of early summer, pairing with denim, cargos and relaxed streetwear fits. Russet Red moved toward warmer earthy tones, working with darker denim, neutral outfits and layered transitional looks.
Both featured breathable mesh uppers with soft grey suede overlays, tonal heel tabs, the New Balance “N” logo and a slightly vintage-inspired midsole.

The Legacy of the New Balance 2002R
Few sneakers have moved from performance runner to lifestyle icon as smoothly as the New Balance 2002R. Originally built on running technology, it combines premium materials with performance-inspired cushioning, and the design has aged without chasing short-term trends.

If you came here for the 2002R, the closest things on the shelf today are the 1906R — the same archive-running lineage, visible ABZORB and N-ergy cushioning, in Black with Hot Tomato, Angora / Sea Salt / Shadow Red, and a women’s Rose Sugar / Pearl Grey — and the ABZORB 2000 and 2010, which sit in the same archive-running category. The 9060 is the bolder, chunkier option.
