Babylon LA Spring/Summer 2025 at Gallery Streetwear

Where skateboard culture, streetwear, and global influence collide

In a world where trends come and go, Babylon LA stands firm — a brand born from the raw energy of Los Angeles punk and skateboard scenes. And now, for Spring/Summer 2025, the latest Babylon LA collection has landed at Gallery Streetwear, Kelowna’s premiere shop for authentic streetwear and exclusive sneakers. If you're looking for the best skateboard clothing store in Canada, you just found it.

A brand built from DIY roots and skate culture

Founded by Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson of the hardcore punk band Trash Talk, Babylon LA has never been about mass-market hype. It’s about culture, rebellion, and authenticity. What started in a repurposed LA warehouse—complete with a private skate bowl—has grown into one of the most respected voices in the global streetwear game.

Babylon LA’s connection to skateboard culture isn’t a marketing move — it’s DNA. Every tee, jacket, and cut-and-sew piece comes from a place of lived experience, shaped by alleyway sessions, late-night shows, and DIY ethics.

What to expect from SS25

The Spring/Summer 2025 collection taps deep into the spirit of punk rock and skateboarding with:

  • Graphic tees featuring raw, distorted visuals and political undertones

  • Cut-and-sew staples with premium detailing and oversized silhouettes

  • Limited collaborations with artists and brands that actually matter

  • A mix of grit and craftsmanship that speaks to skaters, musicians, and creatives alike

Global vibes, local roots

Fresh off the opening of a new flagship in Tokyo, Babylon LA is taking its brand global—but without losing its foundation. The Tokyo space, much like their original LA HQ, is more than retail. It’s a cultural hub built to host art shows, skate events, and community drop-ins. This mirrors what we’re doing here at Gallery Streetwear in Kelowna: bringing true streetwear energy to a place that’s been starved for it.

Why Gallery Streetwear?

At Gallery Streetwear, we don’t just sell clothes—we curate culture. We’ve been living streetwear and skateboarding since day one. Our selection isn’t bloated with filler brands or fast fashion. We only bring in labels that mean something.

With Babylon LA, we’re offering something special:

  • A real link to skateboarding and underground music

  • Limited pieces you won’t find in malls or chain stores

  • Service and selection backed by decades in the game

We’re not trying to be the biggest. We’re trying to be the realest.
