The story starts in Kelowna
I grew up in Kelowna and graduated from Okanagan Mission Secondary (OKM). I was an avid skateboarder and a former pro snowboarder who lived all over Europe, New Zealand, the United States, and in Whistler in pursuit of my dreams. I live the life and love the life. Before streetwear had a name, I was already in it—skating every spare minute, riding at Big White Ski Resort, and hunting for product that felt authentic. I rode for Island Snow’s first skateboard and snowboard teams, which gave me a front-row seat to real shop culture, tight crews, and the thrill of finding something special.

Roots in the scene
Those early years turned into decades in skate, snow, and streetwear. In Kelowna, I worked in, managed, and helped start Deviate Board Shop and One Boardshop. Traveling and living abroad shaped my eye—boutiques in Europe, New Zealand, the U.S., and time spent in Whistler taught me that the best stores are personal, curated, and community-first. That is the blueprint for Gallery.

Why I opened Gallery
Gallery Streetwear is my passion project turned full-time mission. After 35 years in this culture, I wanted to build a Tier-1 boutique experience in downtown Kelowna that reflects real skate and street style, not a mall version of it.
