On Cloudtilt Moon vs Arc in Canada (2026): Which One to Buy
The On Cloudtilt Moon and the On Cloudtilt Arc are two new all-day sneakers built on the same forward-tilted CloudTec Phase midsole, both available from Gallery Streetwear, an authorized Canadian On retailer at 588 Bernard Ave in Kelowna BC, shipping Canada-wide. The short answer: the Moon is the lean, sock-like one at CA$260; the Arc is the chunky retro one at CA$240.
Both landed in October 2026 in men's and women's. If you already know the Cloudtilt line through the Cloudtilt Remix, these are the two new directions On has taken it.
What CloudTec Phase actually does
It is worth understanding this first, because it is the one thing all three Cloudtilt shoes share and it is the reason they feel different from most sneakers.
On's older Cloud elements compress straight down and spring back. On CloudTec Phase, the Clouds are tilted forward, so they collapse in sequence rather than all at once. The practical effect is that the sole leans into the direction you are already travelling. The ride reads as a roll rather than a bounce — you feel pushed through the step instead of landing flat on it. Improved Helion superfoam sits underneath for the landings.
That is a walking technology, not a running one. It is why these work as all-day shoes.
On Cloudtilt Moon — CA$260
The Moon was co-created with Zendaya and Law Roach, and the brief shows: it is built like a sock rather than a shoe. A woven knit upper wraps the foot, a speed lacing system pulls tight in one motion, and a heel tab means you get in and out without sitting down.
- CloudTec Phase cushioning with forward-tilted Clouds
- Improved Helion superfoam midsole
- Woven knit, sock-like fit
- Speed lacing and heel tab
- 242 g · heel-to-toe drop 7 mm
- Polyester upper · Made in Indonesia · true to size
At 242 g it is the lightest shoe in this comparison by a clear margin, and the 7 mm drop is low enough to feel flat underfoot without being a barefoot shoe.
In stock in Men's Nickel, a tonal mid grey throughout, and Women's White / Frost.
On Cloudtilt Arc — CA$240
The Arc is the volume-heavy end of the family. Where the Moon is lean, the Arc leans into a chunkier retro silhouette with a taller stack and textured overlays that break up the upper rather than leaving it flat. The depth is the point of the design.
- CloudTec Phase cushioning with forward-tilted Clouds
- Voluminous retro silhouette, taller stack
- Textured overlays for depth
- Polyester upper · Made in Indonesia · true to size
On does not publish a weight for the Arc, so we are not going to estimate one — but the taller stack and the overlay construction mean it will not be as light as the Moon's 242 g.
In stock in Men's Grain / Ivory and Women's Grain / Ivory — a warm sand upper against an off-white midsole. The Arc also runs the widest size range of the two.
Moon vs Arc, side by side
| Cloudtilt Moon | Cloudtilt Arc | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | CA$260 | CA$240 |
| Silhouette | Lean, sock-like | Voluminous, retro, taller stack |
| Upper | Woven knit | Textured overlays |
| Closure | Speed lacing + heel tab | Standard lacing |
| Weight | 242 g | Not published by On |
| Drop | 7 mm | Not published by On |
| Midsole | CloudTec Phase + Helion superfoam — the same on both | |
| Fit | True to size on both | |
Pick the Moon if you want the lightest option, the easiest on-and-off, and a shoe that disappears on your foot. Pick the Arc if you want presence — it is the one people will notice — and you prefer a conventional lace.
Where the Cloudtilt Remix fits — CA$210
The Cloudtilt Remix is the same tilted geometry with a deconstructed, layered see-through upper, so the internal structure of the shoe becomes part of how it looks. Traditional lacing, a cut-out logo at the sidewall, and roughly 285 g per shoe.
It is the cheapest way into CloudTec Phase and the most visually experimental of the three. Gallery carries it in Men's Black / Ivory, Women's Black / Ivory, Alloy / Ivory and Ash / Espresso.
And if you need it waterproof — Cloud 6 Geo, CA$230
None of the three Cloudtilts are waterproof. For an Okanagan November that matters, and the On Cloud 6 Geo Waterproof in Chai is the answer in the same price band.
- Fully waterproof multi-layered upper with mudguard and toe cap
- Missiongrip outsole for wet or rugged surfaces
- CloudTec in Zero-Gravity foam, plus a Speedboard plate
- Easy on/off toggle lacing · 329 g
It is a hybrid city-and-trail shoe rather than a lifestyle sneaker — heavier than the Cloudtilts by design, because the waterproof membrane and the mudguard weigh something. It is not a submersible boot.
Which On Cloudtilt should I buy?
Buy the Cloudtilt Moon at CA$260 if you want the lightest and easiest to put on — 242 g, woven knit, speed lacing and a heel tab. Buy the Cloudtilt Arc at CA$240 if you want a chunkier retro silhouette with a taller stack and textured overlays. Buy the Cloudtilt Remix at CA$210 for the same tilted midsole under a layered see-through upper. All three use CloudTec Phase and all three run true to size.
What is the difference between the Cloudtilt Moon and the Cloudtilt Arc?
The Moon is the lean, sock-like version — a woven knit upper, speed lacing, a heel tab, 242 g and a 7 mm heel-to-toe drop, co-created with Zendaya and Law Roach. The Arc is the voluminous retro version with a taller stack, textured overlays for depth and standard lacing. Both share the same CloudTec Phase midsole with Helion superfoam, and both run true to size.
Is the On Cloudtilt waterproof?
No. The Cloudtilt Moon, Cloudtilt Arc and Cloudtilt Remix all use textile uppers and none of them is waterproof. If you need a waterproof On, the Cloud 6 Geo Waterproof has a fully waterproof multi-layered upper with a mudguard, a toe cap and a Missiongrip outsole for wet or rugged ground. It is not a submersible boot.
Do On Cloudtilt shoes run true to size?
Yes. On lists the Cloudtilt Moon and the Cloudtilt Arc as true to size, so order your usual On or sneaker size. The Moon has a sock-like woven knit upper that wraps closer than the Arc's structured one, so if you are between sizes and want more room, the Arc is the more forgiving of the two. You can try both on in person at Gallery Streetwear in Kelowna.
