Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper founded Eastside Golf with a mission and a mascot. The "Swinging Man" logo — a Black man mid-swing in a hoodie and jeans — became the brand's signal that golf wasn't only for the audience it had historically marketed to. The Jordan brand collabs followed. So did partnerships with the PGA. The brand grew up out of Morehouse College and a desire to tell a different golf story.

Eastside Golf was founded in 2019 by brothers Olajuwon and Earl A. Cooper with a mission to open golf culture to the next generation. The instantly recognisable Man Swinging logo has become shorthand for modern golf streetwear, and their collaborations with Jordan Brand, E-40, Delta Air Lines and the Masters have put Eastside on the map globally.

The Eastside Golf story
Olajuwon Cooper played college golf at Morehouse and saw first-hand how inaccessible the sport was to anyone outside traditional country-club circles. Eastside Golf was built deliberately as a culture-led brand — using golf apparel as a vehicle to broaden who gets to feel welcome on a course. The brand's partnership with Jordan Brand in 2021 produced one of the most-wanted Air Jordan golf silhouettes of the last five years.
