Waxed canvas sits between webbing and leather. It has more body than a plain fabric strap because the wax stiffens the weave, but it stays lighter and more forgiving than a leather belt, and it does not crack when it gets soaked.

The brown and olive pairing is the useful part — it bridges the two colour families most of a fall wardrobe already lives in, so it works with denim, chinos and everything in between. Two sizes, S/M and L/XL.

How do I pick between S/M and L/XL?
The belt is sold in two bracketed sizes rather than by waist measurement. Order the size that covers your usual trouser waist and adjust at the buckle. Dime does not publish exact strap lengths, so if you sit between the two sizes, ask us and we will measure the stock belts in Kelowna first.

What is waxed canvas and how do I care for it?
It is canvas treated with wax so it stiffens slightly and sheds water. Do not machine wash or soak it, because that strips the wax out. Wipe with a damp cloth and air dry. It will burnish and lighten along the fold and at the buckle with wear, which is normal.
