Afends Fall 2026 in Canada: Recycled Boxy Tees, the Yukon Denim Jacket and Hemp Done Properly
Afends Fall 2026 has landed at Gallery Streetwear in Kelowna, BC and is shipping Canada-wide. Eight pieces: the Yukon Denim Jacket, the Lennox oversized long sleeve shirt, four recycled boxy tees, and two recycled caps.
Afends is from Byron Bay, Australia, and it is one of very few streetwear brands where the sustainability claim is the actual business rather than a hangtag. If you want the full brand story we have a separate Afends in Canada guide. This piece is about what specifically landed for fall.
The Yukon Denim Jacket is the anchor
Yukon Denim Jacket – Ink. Three units. A denim jacket in a deep ink rather than a mid-blue, which puts it closer to a chore jacket in how it wears — it goes over a hoodie without the two layers fighting each other. This is the piece from the delivery that will still be in rotation in three years.
Lennox: the oversized long sleeve
Lennox Organic Oversized Long Sleeve Shirt – Olive Stripe. Organic cotton, cut oversized, in an olive stripe. Three units. An oversized striped long sleeve is one of the hardest things to get right — too boxy and it looks borrowed, too fitted and the stripe pulls. Afends have been cutting this block for a while.
Four recycled boxy tees, and how they differ
All four are boxy cuts, and all four are recycled fabric. The differences are weight and graphic:
- Scorpius Recycled Heavyweight Boxy Tee – Stone Black. Heavyweight. The one that holds its shape.
- Spiritual Recycled Heavyweight Boxy Tee – Vintage Ketchup. Also heavyweight. Vintage Ketchup is a washed red — the standout colour in the delivery, and a single unit.
- Origin Recycled Boxy Vintage Tee – Stone Black. Vintage treatment, so it reads softer and more worn-in from new than the Scorpius in the same colour.
- Eureka Recycled Boxy Tee – Coffee Stripe. The only stripe in the tee range.
If you are choosing: heavyweight for structure and longevity, vintage for immediate softness. Stone Black appears twice on purpose — Scorpius and Origin are the same colour in different hands.
Caps
Consider Recycled Six Panel Cap – Slate Blue and Spiritual Recycled Mesh Trucker Cap – Black. One of each. Recycled fabric on both, which is more unusual on headwear than on tees — caps are structurally awkward to make from recycled material.
Why an Okanagan shop carries a Byron Bay brand
Byron Bay and Kelowna have less in common than the marketing would suggest, but the clothing translates: hemp and organic cotton in mid-weights, cut generously, built for a climate with a real summer and a mild-but-wet shoulder season. That is the Okanagan almost exactly. Afends works here for the same reason it works there.
A note on the sustainability claim
We are careful about repeating brand claims we cannot verify. What we can say is what is on the garment: these pieces are labelled recycled and organic by Afends, and hemp and organic cotton have been the brand's core materials since it started. We are not going to put a percentage on it that we have not read off a care label. Call the shop on (250) 215-1412 and we will read you the actual label from the actual garment.

Afends is available in Canada from Gallery Streetwear at 588 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6P2, shipping Canada-wide. Afends is not widely stocked in Canada; order online at gallerystreetwear.ca, with free shipping on Canadian orders over $150 CAD.
What is in the Afends Fall 2026 delivery?
Eight pieces: the Yukon Denim Jacket in Ink, the Lennox Organic Oversized Long Sleeve Shirt in Olive Stripe, four recycled boxy tees (Scorpius and Spiritual heavyweight, Origin vintage, Eureka in Coffee Stripe), and two recycled caps in Slate Blue and Black.
What is the difference between the Afends heavyweight and vintage boxy tees?
The heavyweight tees, Scorpius and Spiritual, use a denser fabric that holds its shape and keeps a structured boxy line. The Origin vintage tee uses a garment treatment that makes it read softer and more worn-in from the first wear. Both are recycled fabric and both use the same boxy cut.
Is Afends a sustainable brand?
Afends is a Byron Bay, Australia label built around hemp, organic cotton and recycled fabrics, and those materials have been its core since it started rather than a recent addition. Every piece in the Fall 2026 delivery at Gallery Streetwear is labelled by Afends as recycled or organic.
