Fucking Awesome x Skullcandy at Gallery Streetwear Canada – Skate Meets Sound in Kelowna

The Collaboration That Brings Skate Culture to Sound

The Fucking Awesome × Skullcandy collection has officially arrived at Gallery Streetwear Canada, your independent streetwear and sneaker shop in downtown Kelowna. This collaboration fuses Skullcandy’s roots in action sports audio with Jason Dill’s uncompromising skate aesthetic, producing sound gear that looks and feels as raw as the culture that inspired it.

The collection features three exclusive pieces:

  • Crusher ANC 2 Headphones – wireless, noise-cancelling over-ears with FA’s signature graphics and Skullcandy’s adjustable Crusher bass.

  • Dime Evo Earbuds – compact, clip-case wireless buds made for all-day use.

  • Barrel Mini Speaker – portable, water-resistant Bluetooth speaker built for sessions, road trips, and late-night playlists.

Each piece is available now at Gallery Streetwear in Kelowna and online at gallerystreetwear.ca, shipping Canada-wide.

Skullcandy – Audio Born From Action Sports

Founded in Park City, Utah in 2003 by Rick Alden, Skullcandy was created by riders for riders. Alden wanted headphones that worked for skaters and snowboarders who lived loud and moved fast. Their first designs mixed music, movement, and style in a way tech brands never had before.

Skullcandy quickly became a staple in skate and snow culture – known for heavy bass, bold graphics, and a price point built for real people, not status symbols. Two decades later, they still sponsor athletes and artists around the world and remain deeply connected to action sports, youth culture, and music.

This collaboration with Fucking Awesome brings that energy full circle – audio gear built for the same kids who grew up riding curbs and bombing hills.

Fucking Awesome – Jason Dill’s Legacy in Skate and Streetwear

Fucking Awesome was founded in the early 2000s by legendary skateboarder Jason Dill and filmmaker Mike Piscitelli. Dill was already a fixture in the scene – a pro for Alien Workshop, a downtown New York icon, and one of the most influential riders on the Supreme team.

FA began as a handful of tees and stickers made by Dill for friends. The art was collage-driven, chaotic, provocative – a raw reflection of skate life without the corporate filter. In 2013, Dill and Anthony Van Engelen (AVE) expanded Fucking Awesome into a full skate brand under the FA World Entertainment umbrella. Today it sponsors some of the most respected skaters on the planet while retaining its DIY attitude.

FA has always represented a rejection of the ordinary – its designs are strange, humorous, and beautifully imperfect. When Skullcandy partnered with Jason Dill to reimagine their flagship products, it wasn’t just a brand collab – it was a union of two authentic cultures that never played by the rules.
