Butter Goods Solar Fade Denim Jeans – Grey Wash

The Butter Goods Solar Fade Denim Jeans – Grey Wash are a relaxed skate jean finished in a sun-faded grey wash, available from Gallery Streetwear, an authorized Canadian Butter Goods retailer in Kelowna BC shipping Canada-wide.

Butter Goods is a skate label from Melbourne, Australia, and Solar is one of the names it reuses across a season — there is a Solar Zip-Thru Hood, a Solar 6 Panel Cap, a Solar Skully Beanie and a Solar Belt in the same FW26 delivery. On denim it means the fade: a grey wash that reads as sun-bleached rather than stonewashed.

That is the practical difference from the Relaxed Denim in selvedge blue. Both are relaxed everyday skate jeans, but the Solar Fade arrives already broken in, so it goes with a beat-up pair of shoes on day one. The run goes 28 through 42 in the waist.

Machine wash cold inside out, as infrequently as you can manage. Hang to dry — tumble drying shrinks denim and fades colour faster. Do not bleach. Washing inside out and infrequently is the single best thing you can do for denim longevity.
