The VM, GM, and CM range covers low and high cuts in suede, canvas, and the occasional leather build. Sized true to standard skate-shoe sizing — half down if you're between sizes. Hi-tops add ankle volume; thin socks help if you prefer a snug fit.

Last Resort AB is the Swedish skate footwear brand founded by Pontus Alv — one of the most influential skaters of the last twenty years. After running Polar Skate Co for more than a decade, Alv launched Last Resort AB in 2020 to make one thing: genuinely good skate shoes with real vulcanised construction, real suede, and the clean Scandinavian silhouettes that Polar became known for.

VM001 — the core Last Resort silhouette
The VM001 is Last Resort's first shoe and the one most customers buy first. Vulcanised construction, single-piece toe, gum sole. Available in suede and leather, in white, black, grey, and seasonal colourways. Fits somewhere between a Vans Authentic and an Adidas Gazelle — cleaner than either, sturdier than both.
- VM001 Suede — the classic skate version. Proper skate-weight suede, cup insole, vulcanised sole.
- VM001 Leather — premium version with a leather upper. Better for everyday wear than hard skating.
- VM001 Lo — low-cut variant, slightly more refined silhouette.
VM003 — the mid-top
The VM003 is the mid-top evolution of the VM001 — same vulcanised sole, same shape from the quarter down, but with a padded collar that sits at the ankle. Best for skaters who want ankle support or for everyday wear in cooler months. Pairs perfectly with tapered pants.
CM003 — the leather classic
The CM003 is the leather cupsole silhouette — a chunkier, more structured profile, built for skaters who want more impact protection and a more elevated everyday silhouette.
Last Resort AB sizing
Last Resort sizing runs fairly true but slightly long through the toe. Most customers stay true to size; if you are between sizes, go down half. Skaters who prefer a snug fit for board feel tend to go down one.
