Polar Skate Co.

Polar was started in Malmö in 2011 by skater and filmmaker Pontus Alv, who already had a body of work behind him — Strongest of the Strange, In Search of the Miraculous. The brand did two things at once: made some of the best skate videos anyone has made, including I Like It Here Inside My Mind, Don't Wake Me This Time and We Blew It At Some Point, and put out a clothing line whose loose fits changed how a generation of skaters dressed. The team is Hjalte Halberg, Aaron Herrington, Roman Gonzalez, Oskar Rozenberg, Shin Sanbongi and Nick Boserio.
