New Balance 204L Femme – Quicksand / Bark

The New Balance 204L in Quicksand and Bark is a slim, low-profile suede runner drawing on early-2000s New Balance proportions, available from Gallery Streetwear, a Tier 1 authorized New Balance retailer in Kelowna BC shipping Canada-wide.

Most of what New Balance has revived in the last few years has been big — the 9060, the 2002R, the 1906 family. The 204L goes the other way. It is narrow, low and light, with the sort of proportions New Balance was actually making in the early 2000s before the archive got chunky, and it works with tapered trousers and denim that a wider shoe fights.

Quicksand and Bark is a two-tone sand-and-brown. The upper is premium suede with an embossed overlay and screen-printed graphics across the saddle, finished with a double-stacked suede N. Underneath, an EVA outsole combines a 2000s strike path with a 1970s-influenced tread pattern.
