About This Product

Mohair has a halo — the fibres stand off the surface of the knit and catch light around the edges, which is why a mohair sweater photographs so differently from a merino one. Gramicci has used that here as a canvas rather than a finish. Slate Splatter is a grey-blue ground shot through with flecks of contrasting colour, so the pattern reads as scattered pigment rather than as a stripe or a jacquard. From across a room it is a textured grey knit. Up close it is doing considerably more than that. It is the one piece in this delivery that is unmistakably a statement, and at $185 it is priced well below where a mohair knit usually lands. Sizes S, M and L only — three sizes, four units, and no restock guaranteed.
