The New Balance 574 has been in continuous production since 1988 for a reason: it fits, it lasts, and it goes with everything. The Calcium Metallic colourway adds a barely-there shimmer to the classic silhouette — tonal and quiet until the light catches it right.
ENCAP cushioning in the midsole is the same technology that made the original 574 a standard. This isn't a reinvention — it's the same shoe, in one of its better colourways, worn by people who know what they want.
New Balance fits true to length. The 1906R, 990, and 9060 share a slim heel and roomy forefoot.

- Layered cushioning takes 2–3 wears to fully break in
Mesh and synthetic upper with suede and leather overlays. ABZORB cushioning where applicable, EVA midsole, durable rubber outsole. New Balance construction is built to wear and to last.

- Spot-clean overlays with a damp cloth and mild soap — do not submerge
- Air dry away from direct heat — never machine dry
- Treat suede panels with a suede protector spray periodically
- Replace insoles annually if you wear them daily
- Store with shoe trees to hold shape between wears
