About this collection

The label was co-founded in 2013 by Chris “Spanto” Printup and Alex “2Tone” Erdmann. Spanto grew up in Venice's Oakwood neighbourhood, in the same house his great-grandparents bought in the 1930s, and that generational tie is the centre of the whole thing. It started as a statement against the gentrification reshaping Los Angeles, and the Old English script, the neighbourhood commentary and the weight of the garments have kept it one of the most respected labels in the city.
