Dime MTL

Dime started in 2005 as a Montreal skate video crew — Antoine Asselin, Phil Lavoie and a handful of friends filming each other. Apparel came in 2014, almost as an afterthought, and turned into one of the most copied aesthetics in skateboarding. The Glory Challenge, their annual costume-driven contest, is now more watched than most serious competitions, mostly because it refuses to take itself seriously.

We've carried the brand since early on. It's the clearest example of what we look for — something specific, made by people who'd be making it anyway.

Denim

The strongest category and the one we buy deepest. The Baggy Denim Pant is the signature — wide leg, heavy denim, washes that change every season: indigo, reversed indigo, black washed, electric charcoal, distressed green, and the Baggy Wink in faded black. Straight and Relaxed cuts alongside it (sandblasted indigo, sandblasted pine, sandblasted sky blue, grey washed, true blue, black), plus Baggy Chino pants. Shorts run Classic Dime, Classic Denim, Carpenter, Tech, Pleated Baggy, Baggy Chino and Baggy Houndstooth.

We don't publish a sizing rule for Dime MTL. Use the measurements in our size guide, or come in to 588 Bernard Ave, Kelowna BC and we'll fit you. Denim pants and shorts run 28–38 depending on the style — not every wash is cut in every size.

Tees, hoodies and the rest

Graphics rotate every season and pull from 80s and 90s subculture in a way that lands rather than just referencing. Heavy cotton, cut slightly boxy — Classic Small Logo, Cursive, Jumble, Arch Ringer, Spiked, Paper Cut, Besties and the Glo Dime Glory Challenge run. The hoodies and zip-ups sit at the top end — midweight French terry, relaxed — plus crewnecks, sweatpants, the Printed Rib Sweater, the Jacquard LS Polo, the Chilling Satin Shirt, the Plaid Button Up, the Crinkled Tech Windbreaker and the Pleated Denim Jacket.

Then the accessories wall: caps (Low Pro, Worker, Painter, New Era), beanies (the Mohair Skully and the Rib Fold), belts (studded, dress leather, waxed canvas), wallets and cardholders, socks, keychains, the Dime Tray — and for people who actually skate, Dime × Classic Grip grip tape and the occasional deck.

Not on the shelf right now: Dime wheels — we carry Dime grip tape and the occasional Dime deck, but there are no Dime wheels in the current range. Dime bags are down to one messenger bag that is currently out of stock. Email us and we'll tell you honestly what we can get.

The Women's Baggy Denim Pant in indigo washed and black is the deepest women's stock we hold, alongside jersey pieces — the Classic Jersey Skirt and the Classic Rib Tank — and cropped cuts like the Cropped Zip Hoodie and the Cropped Mohair Knit.
