b.Eautiful is a Los Angeles project started in 2018 and run by people who have chosen to stay anonymous. The premise is a corrective: most streetwear treats Japanese culture as anime and samurai, and this label instead goes looking for under-the-radar Japanese artists, designers and musicians and builds a drop around one of them at a time. Every release spotlights a single creator, and the research shows.

What's on the floor

• Graphic tees — heavyweight cotton, cleanly printed, each design tied to a specific artist or subculture
• Crewnecks in the same small runs
• Occasional longsleeves, headwear and accessories

Drops are single-edition, so pieces sell through fast and almost never come back. The floor turns over quickly — worth checking back.
